The Nigeria Customs Service has seized a brand new 2018/ 2019 model Range Rover and 50 other vehicles. Comptroller of Customs, Ogun State Area Command, Mr Michael Agbara, revealed this to reporters on Thursday in Abeokuta, the state capital.
According to him, the Range Rover with duty pay value of N64million and other vehicles were smuggled into the country through the borders of the state. Agbara also revealed that the command generated a revenue of N437million in the month of May. He said over 5,000 bags of 50kg prohibited foreign rice and 102 kegs of Petroleum Motor Spirit among other items were seized from smugglers within the previous month.
